Lets talk a bit about our current exclusive product. As in, no other store in Australia has access to it. The Denon flagship receiver AVC X8500H in Silver. Now, silver is usually available in Europe, US, Asia etc, because of much larger markets. The importer, Qualifi, had decided years ago to avoid getting silver AV receivers in, just because they don’t sell as well as the black ones, and we are just a tiny market compared to the rest of the world.
This time around, we managed to twist the importers arm a bit to get the entire quantity of SILVER AV receivers from Denon arriving in the country.
AND IT LOOKS CLASSY AS HELL!
It is also one heavy bastard. You’d expect nothing less from something with 13 CHANNELS… as in 13 individual discrete amplifiers…. and a transformer the size of a fat child’s head. This means a couple of things… Big power for long periods of time, and a 7.2.6 Dolby Atmos/DTS:X setup. Or you could run 5.1…. and bi-amp every channel.
Yes it has 3 zones of amplification, but why would you bother when you can run such a massive surround sound system in one room?
Also, for some reason there is also a Pre-Amp/Processor only mode, shutting down all of the amplifiers, just in case you had a stack of power amps already.
