As we all know pretty well, to obtain a high-quality digital video and audio transmission an HDMI cable is needed. But what to do if you need to couple devices installed at a distance and it is inconvenient to use cables?
HDMI to CAT6a Baluns. While it would be better to have a single HDMI cable for the entire length, the CAT6a conversion does allow for much longer runs. Using wireless technology in place of HDMI is terrible at best. My experience with that has pretty much nailed in that wireless HDMI is not going to be useful for a long while yet, let alone over long distance.
